Shipping policy

Dispatch
Every IDX is assembled and tested by hand in our London workshop. Orders for items in stock are dispatched within 3 working days of purchase. You'll receive an email with tracking as soon as your order leaves the workshop. 

If your finish isn't in stock, I'll email you within one working day with a build and dispatch date before I take it any further and if that date doesn't suit you, you can cancel for a full refund there and then. No hard feelings!

Small batches
IDX is made in small batches. If a restock date is not known, you can join the notification list on the product page, and we'll email you as soon as the next batch is available.

UK delivery
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. We ship via Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD, fully insured and tracked, and most orders arrive within 2 working days after dispatch. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands is charged at the rate shown at checkout.

International delivery
We ship to the countries available at checkout. International orders are processed by our partner Global-e, which calculates the delivery cost and an estimated delivery time for your address at checkout, before you pay. All international orders are insured and tracked.

European Union
Shipping to EU countries is currently paused while we complete compliance work for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (2025/40). If you're in the EU and would like to be notified when we resume, please get in touch via our Contact page.

Duties and taxes
For most countries, import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, so there is nothing further to pay on delivery. Where this isn't available for your country, checkout will tell you before you pay.
